F.A.Q.

Are your products safe?

Yes. The products we use are safe for your home and biodegradable. This means you don’t have to worry about your furniture and floors being damaged on the inside or your plants and grass being damaged on the outside.

How often should cleanings be done?

While we do offer one-time cleanings we highly recommend having your windows cleaned at least twice a year. Pressure washing and gutter cleaning should be done at least once a year. If you live in heavily wooded areas or near lakes and rivers you may need cleanings more often.

Can I clean my windows and home myself?

Some people view cleaning their windows or pressure washing their homes as a d.i.y project. These projects can be time consuming and often do not yield the same results as having a professional do it. Glass cleaners, which are often staples in homes, are really only polishing agents. They make your glass look clean for a moment and they build up a film on your windows. Pressure washing your home can sound like a good idea but if you do not use the correct pressure you can damage siding, chip away paint, and damage screens on your windows.

What are hard water stains?

Hard water stains are from mineral deposits that sit on your window and over time are stained or etched to the glasses surface. These stains can become visible after a cleaning because they blend into the other debris on the windows surface. We do offer a separate hard water stain removal service.

Does rain make my windows dirty?

This is a common myth. Rainwater is most like distilled water, therefore it does not make your windows dirty. There are a few things that can make it seem this way. When it rains the raindrops will grab onto the debris, dirt, and pollen as they pass through your screens and will splash against the window pane. This is why we thoroughly clean your screens with each window cleaning ensuring your windows stay Bright & Shiny longer. Some other causes of dirty windows are groundwater, existing debris and dirt, and the environment but rainwater alone will not make your windows dirty.
